Rae has over 25 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her specialties include working with anxiety and panic disorders, depression and stress, grief and loss, ADHD, and spiritual and faith issues. As a therapist and Licensed Minister, she is passionate about helping to bring a deeper understanding of mental health issues to pastors, clergy, and parishioners. Rae is also a Certified Trauma Healing Facilitator, leading trauma-informed Christian-based healing groups for pastors and laymen.
Rae holds an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College, Wheaton Illinois. She is a member of the Illinois Counseling Association, Illinois Mental Health Counselors Association, and Christian Counseling Professionals of Chicagoland.

Utilizing the modality of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Rae’s approach to counseling includes treating the whole person.
“I believe when the whole person is treated – mentally, physically, and spiritually – true healing can be achieved.”
